Last weekend Demenzstation Grafenwörth, a care facility for older adults of SeneCura, successfully completed a Validation evaluation and will become the 2nd insitution in the world that is awarded a certificate of excelence from the Validation Training Institute.
The Quality Assurance for Institutions is an evaluation that any care facility for older adults can do in order to become known as a ‘Validation oriented facility’. The evaluation is done by skilled Validation Teachers using a questionnaire that was developed over many years by Validation professionals. Validation principles and ethics are the cornerstone upon which these organizations are built.
The two institutions that are role models for how Validation can be integrated into a care giving facility are:
